The Research Institute of Sustainable Society (RISS) is a research faculty at Telkom University, coordinated by the Vice Rector for Research Innovation, and Cooperation (WR IV). RISS was established to house several Centers of Excellence (CoEs) that conduct research and innovation focused on social, humanitarian, cultural, artistic, inclusive, digital transformation, and intelligent sensing- and IoT-based digital technologies for various application areas. The research and innovation focus of the CoEs is aimed at promoting the development of a sustainable society. A culture of excellence in sustainable society will serve as a reference in developing ideas, innovations, policies, and key technologies needed to strengthen and maintain its sustainability.
