The Gait Analysis Dashboard (Normative Gait Data of the Surabaya Population) is a flagship research outcome developed by the Center of Excellence (CoE) Motion Technology for Safety, Health, and Wellness (MOSHEE) under the Research Institute of Sustainable Society (RISS), Telkom University. This product is a web-based platform designed to support the analysis of human gait patterns, using normative gait data from a healthy population as its reference.

Through the utilization of the Motion Laboratory facilities, the MOSHEE research team successfully collected gait data from 158 healthy individuals in Surabaya, representing various age groups and body mass index (BMI) classifications. The data were processed into normative references that play an important role in assessing the recovery progress of patients with gait impairments, such as post-stroke or post-operative patients. If a patient’s gait measurement falls within the normative data range, it can be concluded that the patient’s walking ability has approached normal conditions.
The dashboard provides interactive visualizations of gait parameters such as walking speed, step length, and stance phase, and can be easily accessed through web browsers such as Google Chrome. With minimum hardware requirements of 16 GB RAM and a 512 GB SSD, the system is capable of processing and displaying data quickly and accurately.
Through the development of the Gait Analysis Dashboard, CoE MOSHEE aims to strengthen the research and innovation ecosystem in the field of healthcare, particularly in supporting patient rehabilitation processes and the development of population health databases in Indonesia.
